Manufactured home requirements:

• Georgia rule: septic approval from county Environmental Health comes BEFORE the mobile home move-in permit (GA DPH rule 511-3-1) - call Environmental Health first, especially for a lot with an existing septic system
• Existing septic system inspection typically required for mobile home relocation; Level 3 soil report required for all septic permits

Manufactured Home Notes

• Manufactured Home permits are applied for online via the SmartGov portal
• County issues permits for unincorporated areas only; Woodbine, Kingsland and St. Marys each permit separately
• Manufactured/mobile home standards live in the county's Unified Development Code
